Casablanca - Following a meeting by its office on Tuesday, the city council of Casablanca voiced its willingness to continue efforts made to alleviate the consequences of the three buildings' collapse in the Bourgogne neighborhood.
In a press release, the city council's office, which lauded the Royal solicitude and support for the victims, said it will endeavor to implement the necessary measures to prevent such tragedies.
While hailing efforts by all stakeholders, elected members, local authorities, volunteers, associations and media outlets, the release underlined the determination of the city council to limit the impact of this disaster, noting that the elected members are enquiring about the health condition of the hospitalized victims and assisting disaster-stricken families to settle in temporary housing.
