Washington - Morocco, under the leadership of King Mohammed VI, has paved the way in Africa to Maghrebans and Arabs, said on Wednesday in Washington Tunisian president Mohamed Moncef Marzouki.
"It is Morocco which has paved the way to Maghrebans and Arabs in Africa," President Marzouki told MAP during a press briefing in Washington on the sidelines of the US-Africa Leaders Summit, noting that the Kingdom was the first Arab and Maghreban country to realize the importance of the African continent.
The message is to say that Africa is a privileged destination for investment and business, said the Tunisian President.
After more than 20 years of absence, Tunisia has finally followed the same path because it is part and parcel of Africa, he added.
