Rabat - Moroccan national carrier Royal Air Maroc (RAM) and Brazilian GOL Linhas Aéreas Inteligentes recently signed an interline agreement offering new connections between Morocco, Brazil and Latin America, the national airline announced in a release.
Following the launching in December of the first destination in Latin America, RAM expands its route network in the continent and offers to its customers access to several destinations serviced by GOL, which has a large network in Brazil and Latin America, RAM said.
Passing through Sao Paolo, passengers can therefore travel from Casablanca to several Latin American cities such as Rio de Janeiro, Brasilia, Caracas, Montevideo, Lima, Santiago, Buenos Aires, Bogota and Cancun.
Similarly, passengers coming from Brazil, customers of both companies, will benefit from RAM's 80 international destination large network in Africa, Europe and the Middle East through its Casablanca hub, the Moroccan flag carrier added.
The agreement also spares the two companies’ passengers several hassles linked to luggage, counter check-in and others.
Last May, RAM expanded its network in North America through a similar agreement with Canadian WestJet.
