Naples - The Mediterranean Foundation awarded, on Monday in Naples, the title of "Messenger of Peace" to Anna Lindh Foundation's president and HM the King's advisor André Azoulay for his commendable efforts in favor of peace and intercultural dialogue in the Mediterranean region.
The title was granted to him by president of the said Foundation, headquartered in Naples, Michele Capasso, on the sidelines of a dinner offered in honor of participants in celebrations marking the 10th anniversary of the Anna Lindh Foundation.
A tribute was paid, on this occasion, to action by Azoulay since his election in 2008 as head of the Anna Lindh Foundation which made, despite difficulties, huge strides in fighting misunderstandings and stereotypes and bringing the region's people closer by supporting youth and civil society in Mediterranean countries.
