Marrakech - The Seventh International Forum on political dialogue was held in Rabat on December 16th - 17th. The forum’s themes this year was, "Teachers in international education beyond 2015: policies, practices and achieving their goals."
Organized by the Ministry of National Education and Vocational Training, UNESCO and the Education for All (EFA) movement, the forum, aims to share knowledge, experiences and tools on goal development and how teachers can effectively follow national policies.
The form also seeks to develop and formulate concrete recommendations for educators to develop a framework to work within. According to the Ministry of Education’s official website, all of these objectives will be discussed at the World Education Forum in 2015.
The forum’s inauguration was chaired by RachidBelmokhtar, Minister of National Education and Vocational Training, Minister Delegate Abdel Azim Krug, Michael Millward, Director of the UNESCO Office in Rabat and representative of UNESCO’s North African countries.
The forum received 250 international experts and representatives from various governments, regional organizations, non-governmental organizations, international development agencies and private institutions as well as Morocco's international partners and teaching unions.
