Dubai- Morocco won the 2nd prize of 2014 best investment project of the Middle East and North Africa region, during Dubai's Annual Investment.
The prize rewards Morocco's efforts to support investments in aeronautics, said general manager of the Moroccan Agency for investment development, Hassan Belfadil, which organized Morocco's participation in the meeting.
The prize was handed on Monday to Belfadil by UAE's minister of economy, Soltane Said Al Mansouri.
A Moroccan high-ranking delegation, comprising 29 public and private decision-makers is taking part in the event to present Morocco's investment potentials, promote Morocco's economic emergence and highlight the status of Morocco as a regional hub to attract foreign direct investments.
The Moroccan pavilion, a space for B-to-B meetings, is showcasing Morocco's investment offer and a set of 125 investment projects in industry, infrastructure, tourism, agro-food, energy, health, education and trade.
