The Hague- Morocco hailed the initiative of the Dutch government to launch the Global Forum on Cyber Expertise, on the sidelines of the 4th Global Conference on Cyberspace (GCC), held in The Hague on April 16-17.
This forum, in which Morocco participates as a founding partner, seeks to be a global platform that contributes to cyber capacity building and stimulates new funding streams and the sharing of expertise and experiences in the field of cyber security, cybercrime, data regulation and e-development.
Morocco's position was expressed by Morocco's Ambassador to the Netherlands, Abdelouahad Bellouki, who leads a high-level delegation to the 2015 GCC.
The Global Conference on Cyberspace was launched by the UK government back in 2011, bringing together stakeholders from various backgrounds to discuss the challenges facing online freedom and cyber stability.
