Paris - Morocco and France reaffirmed, on Thursday in Paris, their full commitment to boosting cooperation between their security services notably through an intense sharing of intelligence and expertise in fight against terrorism and organised crime.
This came during a meeting between Morocco’s Interior Minister Mohamed Hassad and his French peer Bernard Cazeneuve held on the sidelines of the 12th France-Morocco high level meeting.
The two Ministers stressed the need for developing concerted approaches to address challenges relating to illegal immigration as one of the top priorities for the Mediterranean region.
Hassad and Cazeneuve also underscored the sincere commitment of their respective departments to further consolidate cooperation and reflect the political willingness to add fresh impetus to Moroccan-French relations and foster the special partnership between the two countries.
