Madrid - The Moroccan agency for investment development (AMDI) was awarded the international prize for Spanish magazine specialized in business and investment "Castilla y Leon Economica".
The prize was handed to director of AMDI's office in Spain Aziz El Atiaoui during a ceremony on Tuesday in Madrid, on the occasion of the first entrepreneurial meeting of Castille-et-Leon in Madrid.
The prize is a recognition of AMDI's actions aimed at promoting investment, trade relations, business and networking between Spanish and Moroccan enterprises, said the organizers.
Over 300 B to B meetings were held by the agency over the past four years, El Atiaoui told MAP, adding that 50 Spanish businesses benefited from the agency's support to gain a foothold in Morocco, 30 of which are already operational.
