Rosario- Morocco has always been a haven of peace, dialogue and openness on the different cultures and civilizations, said Mayor of Argentinian city of Rosario (East) Monika Fein.
“Thanks to its openness policy, Morocco made headway on the path of development, driven by the will to promote dialogue and cooperation with the different countries, mainly in Latin America with which it has a lot of similarities,” Fein told MAP following a meeting with Morocco's ambassador to Argentina Fouad Yazourh, on Wednesday at Rosario's city hall.
After the meeting, held on the sidelines of the Arab Cinema Week (June 24-28) with Morocco as a guest of honor, the Argentinian official underlined the need to foster cooperation with southern countries to address the different challenges and create areas of communication and cooperation.
Highlighting actions by Morocco regarding the promotion of peace and coexistence, Fein said she is convinced that the Kingdom will continue its efforts to uphold democracy, boost development and promote openness on other countries.
She hoped that the city of Rosario signs cooperation agreements with Moroccan cities.
