Rabat - Moroccan police in the northern city of Nador arrested, on June 29, a Russian follower of takfiri ideology, the Central Bureau for Judiciary Investigations (BCIJ), under the General Directorate for Territory Surveillance (DGST), said Friday.
The Russian national of Azerbaijani origins left his country in 2012 and destroyed his identity documents to settle in Italy and Spain before entering the national territory, BCIJ pointed out in a statement.
The preliminary investigation revealed that the Russian national has decided to leave his country considering it an "abode of infidelity" (dar kufr), the same source added.
