Moroccan-Japanese cooperation reviewed at meeting in Addis Ababa

Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, March 17, 2013 (MAP) Morocco’s minister of general affairs and governance, Mohamed Najib Boulif, held a meeting on Sunday with Japanese foreign minister, Fumio Kishida, on means to consolidate bilateral relations in various fields. The meeting was held in Addis Ababa on the sidelines of the ministerial preparatory session to the 5th Tokyo international conference for African development (TICAD). The Japanese official praised Morocco’s commitment in the TICAD process stressing the need to further consolidate bilateral ties. The Moroccan official highlighted Japan’s leading role and the involvement of its enterprises in Morocco, stressing the rich perspectives available to Japanese business operators to create businesses in the Kingdom. The ministerial meeting is held by Japan in cooperation with the UNO, the World Bank, the UN development program and the African Union. The Japanese city of Yokohama will host from June 1 through 3 the 5th TICAD under the theme "hand in hand for a more vibrant Africa ».
