Rabat - More than a hundred workers, from Machraa Bel Ksiri (99 Km north east of Rabat) protested last Wednesday morning in front of Rabat's headquarters of Circle Oil, an Irish exploitation company for natural gas, for what they called "the inequity" they faced from the company's management.
Protesters also denounced the company's refusal to pay their financial dues and compensations for working extra hours.
In addition, the workers said that Circle Oil “does not have the right to force them to work for a different company with the absence of any legal document to justify that.”
Accordingly, they asked for an urgent intervention from the government to put an end the intransigence of the company and to compel it to treat its workers in accordance with the law.
