Brussels - The 11th meeting of the EU-Moroccan Association Council which was held in Brussels on Monday adopted a new Action Plan for the implementation of the advanced status which defines the objectives and priority actions of the privileged partnership between Morocco and the European Union for the 2013-2017 period.
The new action plan which was finalized in late 2012 and was implemented starting January 2013, will be an essential reference tool that will guide relations between Morocco and the EU over the next four years.
It provides a roadmap for achieving further advanced association between Morocco and the EU and a broader combination for strengthening bilateral relations in order to achieve a high level of economic integration and stronger political cooperation.
The new Action Plan is an important step in the ongoing process of strengthening relations between Morocco and the EU and which will help mobilize all the dynamics, mechanisms, and instruments of the advanced status.
