Addis-Ababa -Benin's foreign minister Nassirou Bako-Arifari affirmed, on Wednesday, that his country wishes that Morocco returns quickly to the African Union (AU).
We hope to overcome the divide between the Pan-African body and Morocco and see the Kingdom return to his big African family, Bako-Arifari told MAP after a meeting with minister delegate for foreign affairs Mbarka Bouaida.
In addition to the latest developments of the Moroccan Sahara issue, the talks touched on the follow-up of the Benin-Morocco joint committee held last year in Cotonou.
The meeting was attended mainly by director of African affairs Moha Ouali Tagma and head of the Moroccan agency for international cooperation Abderrahim Kadmiri.
