Casablanca- Princess Lalla Salma arrived on Friday, March 14, in Abidjan (Ivory Coast) to attend a charity dinner, organized by the institution Children of Africa to raise funds for the construction of a hospital in Bingerville.

The First Lady of Ivory Coast, Mrs. Dominique Ouattara, who is also the President of the institution Children of Africa, invited Lalla Salma as an honorary guest to attend the charity event organized by her institution.

The funds raised during the charity dinner will be used to build a hospital for mothers and children in Bingerville, a city in southeastern Ivory Coast.

This charity dinner is the second one organized by Children of Africa after the first one organized in February 2012.

The agreement to build the hospital was signed on June 18, 2012, with a number of Ivorian companies.

The President of Ivory Coast, Mr. Alassane Dramane Ouattara, then announced the start of the construction process on June 28, 2012.
