Rabat - Morocco and South Korea agreed, on Tuesday, to give new impetus to cooperation ties uniting the two countries for 52 years and reinforce high-level political dialogue.
Morocco and Korea have been linked with privileged diplomatic ties for 52 years, said chairman of the foreign affairs and unification committee at the Korean national assembly Hongoon Ahn at a press briefing after his meeting with minister delegate for foreign affairs Mbarka Bouaida.
Ahn, who was accompanied by a several Korean MPs, expressed his country's wish to further cooperation with Morocco in the MENA and sub-Saharan regions.
Hailing the fruitful cooperation between the two sides, Bouaida underlined the importance that the two countries, already linked by 22 agreements, attach to broadening cooperation to the sectors of agriculture, food processing and renewable energy.
