Brazzaville - Congolese minister of equipment and civil engineering Emile Ouosso affirmed that Morocco is willing to provide technical assistance and expertize to his country in the field of civil engineering.
Ouosso, who just paid a working visit to Morocco, announced that some Moroccan technicians will arrive next May in Brazzaville to set a working method and a road map as well as a system of reference to carry out several projects as part of bilateral cooperation, a Congolese official source said on Wednesday.
As part of this cooperation, the National Motorway Company of Morocco (ADM) will support the Congolese Road Fund for the modernization and computerization of the toll system, he stressed, noting that the Moroccan experience will be beneficial for Congo in terms of the development of the truck weighing system.
Concerning the transfer of competences, he said that the Moroccans are studying the possibility to host annually five Congolese technicians in charge of road maintenance.
