Rabat - Morocco and Japan are urged to further their cooperation and implement innovative synergies mainly at the level of tripartite cooperation, said, Monday in Rabat, Minister Delegate for Foreign Affairs Mbarka Bouaida.
Morocco, drawing on its African environment, mirrors its commitment in a concrete way through active solidarity actions mainly within the framework of tripartite cooperation with Japan as a partner, said the Minister at a press briefing following a meeting with president of Japanese association for African economy and development (AFRECO) Tetsuro Yano, who is on a working visit to the Kingdom.
The official also commended the support provided by Japan through many important development projects and help for local micro-projects and regional associations.
Stressing Morocco's readiness to broaden this cooperation to include other sectors, Bouaida expressed the north African country's appreciation for Japan's efforts for development in Africa.
She also underlined the importance of the Moroccan-Japanese investment agreement which will be soon finalized, hailing the holding in December 2014 of the Japan-Morocco Forum in Rabat.
