Warsaw - Minister of Economy and Finance, Mohammed Boussaid presented, Wednesday in Warsaw, the economic reforms implemented by Morocco as well as the investment opportunities offered in the Kingdom.
Speaking at a session devoted to investments in Morocco, on the sidelines of the 23rd annual meeting of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), held on May 14-15 in Warsaw, the minister said the Moroccan economy seeks to further expand and integrate into the European economy, as the EU is the first partner of the Kingdom.
Boussaid explained that the Kingdom is one of the few countries to have signed 55 free trade agreements, adding that it is a challenge for the Moroccan economy to be diverse and competitive.
Morocco, under the leadership of HM King Mohammed VI, has launched major projects in several regions of the country, and has developed its motorway network, he said, highlighting the Tanger Med port as a major hub in Africa.
