London - Thanks to its political stability and strategic relations mainly with the USA, Morocco has become a top partner for Washington and international organizations in sub-Saharan Africa, said the Royal United Services Institute (RUSI), a British think tank related to military and security matters.
Morocco's ability to play the role of a facilitator for stability and prosperity in a zone of great strategic importance is justified, according to this prestigious center, by the permanent stability enjoyed in Morocco, a country that continues showing a remarkable resilience in a difficult regional context.
This remarkable stability was achieved on the back of the monarchy, said RUSI, emphasizing the insightful leadership of King Mohammed VI, who has given a boost to avant-guard reforms initiated in Morocco before the Arab Spring.
Morocco is still enjoying a high degree of political stability at a time when political unrest persist in the countries of the region, the source said, noting that Morocco is distinguished by its ability to learn from the experiences of others countries to better face the challenges.
