Rabat - Attracting foreign investment to Morocco is one of the main missions of economic diplomacy considering the issue of supporting Morocco in the process of political, economic and social development, said, on Wednesday in Rabat, Minister delegate for Foreign Affairs Mbarka Bouaida.
Economic diplomacy goes hand in hand with the quest by economic operators for foreign markets to reduce the structural deficit in the trade balance, said Bouaida during a debate organized by the Association of Women Leaders of Moroccan Enterprises under the theme "economic diplomacy, a lever for growth and progress." The Minister stressed that diplomacy constitutes also a support for Moroccan companies in their efforts internationally, particularly in Africa.
In this regard, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation is an important player for enhancing Morocco's image abroad, whose action is reinforced by the presence of 140 Diplomatic and Consular Missions in the world.
