Rabat - The secretariat general of the Arab Maghreb Union (AMU) condemned vigorously the Israeli brutal attack against the Gaza strip, voicing its concern over the latest developments.
The secretariat general reiterated, in a statement on Friday, its firm stance on the Palestinian cause, its total solidarity with the brotherly Palestinian people and its support for their struggle to recover their legitimate national rights and establish their independent state with eastern Al Quds as its capital, extending its condolences to the families of Palestinian victims.
It also called on the international community and the UN to urgently intervene to compel the Israeli aggressor to immediately stop its military operations and step up the search for a just and comprehensive solution to the Palestinian issue.
