Rabat - Qatar's finance minister Ali Sheriff Al Emadi said, on Monday in Rabat, that his country is keen on importing Moroccan foodstuffs and investing in the Kingdom's agriculture sector.
During a meeting with agriculture minister Aziz Akhannouch, Al Emadi said that Qatar, which imports all its foodstuffs from remote countries as Brazil, wishes to cooperate with Morocco in the food processing industry.
He added that Qatar is willing to invest in the Moroccan agriculture sector given that the Kingdom boast huge potentialities in this area.
Akhannouch said that the Qatari official expressed the will of his country to broaden cooperation with Morocco, noting that this matter will be discussed with national economic actors in the coming months.
