Rabat - Morocco is willing to further reinforce its strategic cooperation with Russia, Minister Delegate in charge of Foreign Trade, Mohammed Abbou said on Thursday in Khartoum.
Speaking at the 2nd Arab-Russian cooperation forum, the Minister reiterated Morocco’s willingness to reinforce bilateral ties with Russia within the framework of a win-win partnership.
Abbou said that Morocco’s strategic location, its stability, its advanced relations with the European Union as well as its firm ties with several countries in Africa and the Americas will give an added value to Moroccan-Russian relations in favour of more diversification of cooperation fields.
On the same occasion, the Moroccan official recalled the visit by the King to Moscow in 2002 during which the two countries signed a strategic partnership agreement and President Vladimir Putin’s visit to the Kingdom in 2006.
