Marrakech - King Mohammed VI and President of the Republic of Côte d'Ivoire, His Excellency Alassane Dramane Ouattara, chaired, Tuesday at the Marrakech Royal Palace, the signing ceremony of several bilateral cooperation agreements in various fields.
The first agreement, which provides for promoting cooperation in security, was signed by Interior Minister Mohamed Assad and Charles Koffi Diby, Minister of State and Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Côte d'Ivoire.
The two ministers also signed a memorandum of understanding on the Cocody Bay development project
The third agreement is a memorandum of cooperation between the justice ministries of both countries. It was signed by Charles Koffi Diby and Mustapha Ramid, Minister of Justice and Freedoms.
The two ministers also signed three other agreements: a convention on the transfer of prisoners, a convention on extradition and another convention on mutual assistance in criminal matters.
The seventh agreement provides for cooperation between the two countries in the field of Islamic Affairs. It was signed by Charles Koffi Diby and Toufiq Ahmed, Minister of Endowments and Islamic Affairs.
The eighth agreement, which pertains to the establishment of a logistics platform for the marketing of fruits and vegetables in Abidjan, was signed by Charles Koffi Diby and Aziz Akhannouch, Minister of Agriculture and Marine Fisheries.
The ninth agreement, regarding mutual administrative assistance in customs matters, was signed by Nialé Kaba, Minister Delegate to the Ivorian Prime Minister for Economics and Finance, and Mohamed Boussaid, Minister of Economy and Finance.
The tenth agreement, relating to cooperation in the field of health, was signed by Raymonde Coffie Goudou, Ivorian Minister of Health and the fight against AIDS, and El Houssaine Louardi, Minister of Health.
The eleventh agreement is a cooperation memorandum of understanding regarding the management of affairs of the communities abroad. It was signed by Ally Coulibaly, Minister of African Integration and Ivorians abroad, Anis Birou, Minister for Moroccans living abroad and Migration Affairs.
The twelfth agreement, which provides for cooperation in the field of education and technical education, was signed by Charles Koffi Diby and Abdelaadim Guerrouj, Minister Delegate to the Minister of National Education and Vocational Training.
The thirteenth convention is a protocol to cooperation agreement on environment and sustainable development. It was signed by Charles Koffi Diby and Hakima El Haite, Minister Delegate to the Minister of Energy, Mines, Water and Environment, in charge of the environment.
The fourteenth agreement is a memorandum of understanding on the financing of the Cocody Bay development project. It was signed by Nialé Kaba, Said Zarrou, CEO of Marchica Med, and Mohamed El Kettani, CEO of Attijariwafa Bank.
The fifteenth agreement is a cooperation memorandum of understanding in the field of the management of nationals living abroad between the Council of the Moroccan Community Abroad (CCME) and the Ministry of African Integration and Ivorians living abroad. It was signed by Ally Coulibaly and Abdellah Boussouf, General Secretary of CCME.
The sixteenth agreement is a cooperation agreement protocol between the Moroccan Institute of Directors (IMA) and the National Institute of Directors of Côte d'Ivoire (INADCI). It was signed by Viviane Zunon Kipre, president of INADCI and Laftit Said, president of IMA.
