Marrakech - King Mohammed VI and Ivorian President Alassane Ouattara called for comprehensive and integrated strategies to fight terrorism.
The two leaders underlined that the fight against such plagues requires comprehensive and integrated strategies that include security aspects, combatting radical ideologies and sustainable development, wrote the joint statement issued following the official visit by the Ivorian head of state to Morocco, at the sovereign's invitation.
The two leaders firmly condemned all terrorist acts in all their forms.
They deemed that security threats by extremist groups constitute a major challenge for States' stability and a hindrance to socio-economic development of African states, the statement added.
They also reaffirmed their commitment to pooling efforts to promote peace, stability and sustainable human development in Africa.
