Rabat - Longing for a long-distance trip for the holidays, but you don’t have the requirements to get a visa? No problem! We've found four faraway destinations overseas where you only need a valid Moroccan passport to visit.

Morocco World News presents its readers the best four countries to travel for the holidays. Moroccans can visit without a visa and they are all within the reach of Budget Travelers!

1 – The Maldives

maldives

The Maldives is a group of about 1,200 islands, separated into a series of coral atolls, located  North of the Equator in the Indian Ocean.

If you are a fan of water sports, visit the Maldives for a perfect holiday. It is the leading water sports hub in the world. All its resorts, guest houses and liveaboards provide unlimited access to exciting water-sport activities.

While the Maldives are known for their luxury resorts and over-the-top pampering, it’s possible to enjoy an affordable trip to this paradise.

In 2009, the Maldives started allowing locals to start their own guesthouses, opening the door to locally-owned establishments welcoming guests on the local islands. Private rooms can be found for as little as $40 per night. If you’re traveling with a friend or partner, your share drops to $20.

The average budget for one week in the Maldives: MAD 15,500 ($1,600).

2 – Brazil

Brazil

Brazil is Latin America’s second best tourist destination, after Argentina. If you want to drive your co-workers jealous, tell them you are traveling to Brazil. It is one of the most beautiful countries in the world thanks to its wonderful beaches, rainforests as well as the famous Rio de Janeiro carnival.

In Brazil you will find an exciting cultural diversity that you won't find anywhere else on this planet. And it is safe to say that Brazilians in their majority are friendly to foreigners, regardless of nationality, race, culture or social status.

Motels in Brazil are ideal for couples on short stay. These motels are a good value and void of stigmas.

The average budget of one week in Brazil: MAD 13,500 ($1,300)

3 – Macau

he Ruins of St. Paul's refers to the ruins of a 16th-century complex in Macau including of what was originally St. Paul's College and the Church of St.

China’s Macau is only one hour away from Hong Kong, yet it is quite different. Macau's main draws for tourists are the big casinos and hotels, as well as some historical Portuguese attractions. UNESCO World Heritage sites, San Ma Lo and Guia Fortress are popular with tourists.

To get an insight into Macau’s history, we suggest visiting the Macau Museum. Located in Forte Monte, it is the best option for those interested in the history of this former Portuguese colony.

South Korea

Korea is still somewhat of an unfamiliar territory since more than half of all its visitors get no further than Seoul. Regarded as one of the largest and most technically-advanced cities in the world, its capital city regularly confounds expectations by proving itself to be quite rich in history.

South Korea features spring landscapes, sandy beaches, rocky mountains, peaceful and impressive historical sites, including Ggotji Beach. Located four kilometers southwest from Anmyeon-eup, this cream-colored beach is the ideal place to go for a drive and watch the sun set into the ocean between two large rock formations known as Granny Rock and Grandpa Rock.

You can also explore Uleung Island Seaside Road. Nicknamed "Mysterious Island", it is a popular weekend getaway spot for Seoulites.

Curious rock formations, shore cliffs and numerous waterfalls adorn the island’s Seaside Road.

The average budget of one week in Korea: MAD 19,000($1,900)
